FINE AND RARE

Adjacent to Château Lafite-Rothschild in the neighboring appellation of Paulliac, Cos d’Estournel produces wines that are prized worldwide.  Robert Parker writes that “Cos  d’Estournel’s unfiltered 1994 is one of the top wines of the vintage. It boasts an opaque blue/black/purple color, as well as a fabulously sweet nose of black fruits, licorice, pain grillee and Asian spices. Full-bodied, with sweet, opulent fruit that reveals none of the vintage’s tough tannin, this remarkably rich, well-balanced, classic wine will prove to be uncommonly long-lived.”

This huge and lovely wine has an anticipated maturity of 2003-2025 making it a treasure to save for special occasions or the perfect wine for tomorrow. This pristine case of wine is being donated by its original owners who have meticulously cellared it in the original wooden box from France.
