30! Bread & Roses Celebrates |

On
March 10, long-time Bread & Roses friend Boz Scaggs and
250 guests and sponsors celebrated our 30th Anniversary with a Benefit Concert
at the elegant Regency Center in San Francisco.
Among the artists who joined Boz to make this one-of-akind jazz supper club
evening so memorable were vocalist Clairdee, emcee Dick
Bright, tango dancers Gustavo and Jessica Hornos,
instrumentalists Marcelo Puig and Seth Asarnow from The
Tengo Tango Show and juggler Frank Olivier. Bread
& Roses friend Mark Buell generously served for the second
year in a row as our auctioneer.
A very special thanks to the 30th Anniversary Benefit Committee chairperson,
Suzanne Badenhoop, and the 30th Anniversary Benefit
Committee for their extraordinary commitment to ensure the evening's
success. Thanks also to the many devoted Bread & Roses event volunteers
for their generous contributions of time and their unfailing kindness
