Rhiannon
is a vibrant, gifted singer, a wild and daring improviser known for her stellar collaborations with Bobby McFerrin, Voicestra, SoVoSo' and Bowl Full of Sound. Her newest CD, "Out of the Blue: Rhiannon with Bowl Full of Sound," was released in May 2003.
"I don't know if you have had the pleasure of hearing Rhiannon lately, but she is breaking barriers left and right with her fearless improvisational style, her willingness to take creative, aesthetically rewarding risks, and her emotionally rich, deep approach to the music and to this extraordinary roller coaster of life we are all on." |

Pianist/arranger/producer Frank Martin is a Bay area legend. He has recorded and performed with, among many others, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, and Sting. He and Rhiannon have been collaborating for 20 years.
Alex Acuña is widely regarded as a major figure in jazz fusion and world music for his percussion and drumming work on seminal 1970's Weather Report albums. He has made enormous contributions in recordings, television, and film music, and has won "Best Latin/Brazilian Percussionist" Award from Modern Drummer's Readers Poll for five consecutive years.
Abraham Laboriel is simply one of the world's best and most original electric bass players. The most widely used session bassist of our time, his credits include almost 4,000 recordings.
To witness Abraham play one immediately understands that music is essentially about passion and that he is truly one of the most gifted interpreters. |
