We hope you will join us for the upcoming 'Give Back Tuesday' at Iron Springs Pub to Benefit Bread & Roses. On Tuesday April 13, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, Iron Springs Pub & Brewery in Fairfax will donate a portion of the proceeds of all food and beverage sales to benefit Bread & Roses. Staff producer Kurt Huget and volunteer performer Jesse Lee Kincaid will provide live music from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The food, handcrafted beer and sodas are great. Bring friends & family to help spread the word about Bread & Roses.
Multi-instrumentalists and songwriters Jesse Lee Kincaid and Kurt Huget perform an eclectic mix of original and authentic Americana music: bluegrass, country, folk, blues, fiddle tunes, and roots-rock. Kurt and Jesse have been performing together around the Bay Area for over 15 years. Jesse¹s legacy goes back to the days of the great folk music scene of the 60¹s in New York and Boston. From there, he moved on to L.A. to co-found the legendary group, The Rising Sons, with Taj Mahal and Ry Cooder. Kurt has been a versatile Bay Area performer for over three decades, performing and recording with members of San Francisco¹s greatest bands, as well as co-writing songs with the Grateful Dead¹s lyricist, Robert Hunter.
Iron Springs Pub & Brewery is owned and operated by Michael and Anne Altman. It is a much-appreciated asset to the Fairfax community, a comfortable place where locals of all ages can meet and enjoy good food, drink & live music.
This evening is another in their weekly series called "Give Back Tuesday," which help to support local non-profit organizations. Their donation of a portion of the proceeds for the evening will help Bread & Roses carry on its daily mission of bringing hope and healing through live music to people who are isolated in Bay Area institutions.
