A warm welcome to new staff at Bread & Roses: Heidi James - Vice President, Development and Tracey Berntsen - Business Manager. Farewell to Elissa Burke, former development director, and Ann Huseman, former business manager, who have both left to pursue other opportunities.

Heidi James is an accomplished fundraiser with over 25 years of nonprofit experience and comes to us most recently from the YMCA of San Francisco where she was chief development officer. Heidi has a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix in Suisun City, CA and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from San Francisco State University.
Of her new position at Bread & Roses Presents, Heidi says, "I am thrilled to join the team of such a mission-based organization with an impressive program. I am looking forward to meeting our supporters and learning more about their history with the organization. I am enjoying being a partner to the staff and board in growing our philanthropic revenue and having a greater impact on those we serve."

An experienced staff accountant and bookkeeper, Tracey Berntsen has worked in a variety of specialized accounting positions. She most recently worked as bookkeeper at Sausalito Audio and accounting manager at Grimani Systems. Tracey has a B.A. in Economics, specializing in business management, from the University of California in Santa Cruz.
